According to M&S research, 96% of the people in the UK live life on autopilot. The average person in Britain makes 15 decisions on autopilot a day – that’s more than 250,000 autopilot decisions in a lifetime.
Make it Matter day
To tackle this, M&S launched “Make it Matter day” on the 1st of June 2017 to give everyone the opportunity to break out of their routine and focus on the little things that matter most in life.
We challenged 100 ‘non-paid’ lifestyle British influencers with at least 5,000 followers to reveal three secrets on three specific days, as part of a wider M&S marketing campaign, in which they had to share how they enjoy the special moments in life and inspire their followers to do the same.
The results were fantastic
100 Influencers published 371 posts on their social networks, reaching 3 064 996 followers.
